The music industry is a beautiful chaotic mess. The major labels continue to consolidate. Independents are as always fighting for resources. Amazon launched a cloud service without much conversation. Digital sales are tracking to outpace physical sales for the first time this year. Music technology abounds. Every day there is a new service, a new way of doing things, and a new way to think about how music gets to and is experienced by the customer.

Maquina Mono Monkeys Around With Latin Grooves

We recently enjoyed a show from Maquina Mono (in English: The Monkey Machine). Headed by Pablo Beracochea on vocals and guitar, this 6-piece band can really make you move. We captured a few moments to chat with Pablo about the musical project and we were intrigued in how the sound has evolved into what it is today.
